About the Board of Directors

The Tampa Bay Library Consortium, Inc. is administered by an executive director and is governed by the 13-member TBLC Board of Directors. The board is composed of delegates from TBLC member libraries of public, academic, and school/special. An Executive Committee of the Board is our president, vice-president, treasurer/secretary and past-president.

Election to the Board is managed by the President of the Board each year with a Nominating Committee. An online election when open slots on the Board become available occurs during the summer with the result of the election being announced at the Annual Membership Meeting in September. Further information about the Board can be found in the organizational bylaws.

Meetings are open to any TBLC member library and held each quarter of the fiscal year. Locations change for the meetings each quarter; to attend the next board meeting, please email jim@tblc.org to receive the Agenda and support materials.
