Governor Charlie Crist has proclaimed April 2008 as “Library Appreciation Month.”  The proclamation identifies many of the ways that libraries contribute to Floridians’ quality of life.  This proclamation is posted on the State Library and Archives of Florida’s Web site.

County and city governments may choose to issue similar proclamations of their own.  We encourage you to share this proclamation with your community.
