This two-hour online class will help you learn the fundamentals of Netvibes, a tool for creating private and public information portals. Learn how libraries can use Netvibes, a free tool, for creating information portals for patrons as well as teaching K12 and postsecondary patrons/students how to create personal learning enviornments and information portals for learning and research. We will explore how Netvibes can be used as a form of transliteracy as we explore Netvibes as a tool for creating information literacy artifacts, a means for evaluating information sources, and a way for students to articulate and visualize their research process.
